My
Story
For
over twenty years I have owned and operated a number of successful
businesses, including a bakery, a restaurant and a gift store
while managing my real estate investments. While these initiatives
were profitable and allowed me to enjoy a certain lifestyle, it
was not deeply satisfying; the spiritual and creative aspects
of my being were not being nurtured as I wished.
Throughout my thirties I became involved in the study and practice
of Jungian and other schools of depth psychology, explored western
mystical traditions, meditation and Kabala and found this to awaken
my desire nature and add new complexity and understanding to my
life.
I have been married for sixteen years and have two wonderful sons,
and this has been where I have done some of my most important
learning.
My first experience with astrology happened thirteen years ago
when my husband and I received a gift certificate
for an astrological reading for our first-born
child . We were given valuable psychological insights to help
us nurture and support our childs' well being and his “soul
code”.
I took my first class in Astrology with Toronto based astrologer,
Julie Simmons, and soon realized that this is the psychological
and spiritual tool that completes the journey of self-discovery
I have pursued for so long. I have spent the last nine years of
my life studying and practicing astrology.
I have experienced personally the benefits of this practice and
I have seen it work amazingly for my clients. The art of astrology
is a practical and effective way to engage in the world in a meaningful
way. Applying the insights it offers, we align ourselves with
the spiritual dimension of the universe, and nurture our day to
day living.
The more I practice and teach astrology the more amazed I am at
the offerings it has for us as individuals and as a local and
global community. It awakes the wonder and awe in us and the desire
of living a meaningful life. It related us back to the wholeness
and interconnectedness of all life and demands constant awareness
of our presence to the changing times and our responsibilities
to the co-creative aspects of life. |
